A restaurant in New York has unveiled the world's most expensive dessert, which features a coating of edible gold leaf.

The pudding, available at Serendipity 3 in the Big Apple, is called the Frrrozen Haute Chocolate and is valued at £15,730, the Metro reports.

Listed in the Guinness World Records as the world's most expensive pudding, the sweet is served in a crystal goblet with an 18-c gold and white diamond bracelet around the neck.

The glass is layered with 23-c gold and the pudding itself contains 14 rare cocoas and has to be ordered in advance - although none have been sold yet.

Do ppl eat this stuff??? 🙂

If no one has bought it, then how does it get the record for most expensive desert? I'll sell my roommate's ice cream for $1mil, does that mean I get the record?
