For around 1.5 years, my ring finger has been trashed, red bumps, peeling skin, etc, finally my wife confiscated my wedding ring to see if it was an allergy to it.

My finger cleared up in several days, did a quick search & it seems I may be allergic to molybdenum, & I need to get an 18K gold ring to avoid the allergic reaction...

Anyone else allergic to any metals?

I believe i am "allergic" to lead, mercury, any thing radioactive. Probably about 90% of the periodic table and i dunno how many alloys.

Edit: Oh and i am allergic to silver every full moon

A lot of people think they are allergic to white gold when its almost always the nickel in it.

OT - nickle or nickel?

Drink some Gold Schlager... if you feel drunk, you must be allergic to Gold.

Yeah, well about the 1.5 year thing, I'm sort of dense:eek:

I showed it to 1/2 dozen doctors & they said it was a localized scaling & to put moisturizer on it...

I assumed that if I moisturized my hands @ night the next step was frequenting bars & picking up guys, followed by a nasty "for cause" divorce... so I didn't moisturize @ night:eek:
