Check out CheapoVegas.com. They have great reviews and recommendations on the casinos.

As far as Treasure Island goes, it's ok. The rooms are fairly small, but it's clean and whatnot. Nothing particularly great about it, especially after they ruined the Pirate show out front.

My personal recommendation if you're looking for something cheap is the Imperial Palace. It's very plain, but it's really cheap and in a PERFECT spot in the middle of the strip (right across from Caesars Palace). I've stayed there a couple times and been perfectly happy with it.

If you're looking for something nicer, Luxor is good (though at the far end of the strip), and Bally's has large rooms.
