Gonna book through Allegiant Air.

Are there any family friendly things to do? Any tips on how to enjoy Vegas on cheap? Looking for advice from experienced Vegas goers on ATOT.

Thanks.

nice... I want to go back. Do you have hotel reservations yet?

I've only been once. We stayed at the San Remo which was then being renovated into Hooters. it is in a sweet location and was damn cheap. we weren't even in the room much except to sleep. there are $25 holdem poker tourneys a few times a fay at the Luxor, those were fun. i was usually planted in front of the Star Wars penny slot machine drinking for free. top the waitress decent and she will come back every 15 mins or so. they are scantily clad too, it rocks. my wife was there and we were both like  because Vegas was cleavage heaven!

enjoy... fountains at Bellagio at night are super Vegas cliche but it was probably our favourite thing to do on the strip.

unhhhh.... want to go back....... : drool :

edit: oops, i missed the part about family friendly

Nice!

My friend, his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's friend (who is f'ing HOT) are going in February and he asked me to go with them. Argh... totally would but I don't think I can afford it. Flights and hotel come to about $360, plus spending money... bah. FVCK.

Better start saving now.

I think 21 is the legal age there to be able to do much of anything.

Look for me at the craps, blackjack or video poker 25th - 30th.

Bellagio, Palms or Rio.

For vegas cheap, avoid the strip and stay downtown. cheap gaming, cheap meals. Don't know much about the family friendly aspect, they ditched that failed attempt years ago and are back to what vegas is about.

I just came back from Vegas this past weekend and to tell you the truth there aren't too many family oriented things to do. You can ride the roller coaster at New York New York, Go on a helicopter ride that overlooks the city (better at night) and then go through Hoover Dam, Circus Circus has a little act every couple of hours (but the place there is very dated) and also there's Fremont Street but not much to do but just walk around. Honestly, I wouldn't take kids to Vegas because there is just too many adult activities and there's too much damn smoke. You leave smelling like an ashtray.

If you want on the cheap, then go to the off the strip casinos like Orleans, Terrible's or Gold Coast for cheaper minimum tables.

Good luck!

I'm going there to visit family as well. It's going to be one massive family reunion. We'll have family flying in from all parts of the US. Should be fun as hell!

Vegas and "family friendly" doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Any particular reason you chose it?

Heyyy I'm actually leaving for vegas Xmas eve for the week! Anyway, as for cheap and family oriented... you really can't beat the fountains of bellagio. Carny games at Circus Circus / Excalibur may be an option although those games could add up. I'd suggest shows but those could get reaaally pricey if you're paying for more people. You can try those Tix2night places. Some tickets are up to half off so that might be a viable option. The tickets are usually vouchers for the night or the next day so you go redeem it at the actual box office. They are legit, though they look shady. I got a pair of tix to Phantom of the Opera for like 30% off the last time I went. Thats... pretty much if other than sightseeing. Try Freemont street @ downtown Vegas.

Want to buy my house? Then you can live in Vegas forever! Walking up and down that strip, 24/7, in 110 degree heat while 50,000 illegal hispanic immigrants hand you hooker calling cards every 2 feet

Try to buy a shirt from the hooker calling card illegal aliens. We tried several times, no such luck. Probably need an interpreter. I thought it would be so cool to have a bright yellow "Girls to your Door!" T-shirt.
