I'll be driving from the Houston area. About how long should it take me to get there if I drive straight through?

It will take you about 7 hours if you can speed on through without any obstacles. In reality, it will probably take you at least 8. I think the last time I drove that far it was about 9 hours due to the traffic.

Tulsa is my hometown, but we lived in Houston for a while. I'm actually flying to Tulsa tomorrow for the weekend from Atlanta.

I made it from Tulsa to Houston once in just over 5.5 hours...but I was hauling ass and only stopped for gas when absolutely necessary.

What are you coming up here for?

Damn, hard to believe we're from the same area - you know you shouldn't have ripped me on the other damn repost!

P.S. http://maps.google.com - subtract an hour or so.
