I have to goto traffic court on Wednesday to fight two tickets: a) not having registration signed b) not having sticker on registration

Each ticket is worth $110CDN.

My plan is to goto court..show them the signed registration with sticker and hopefully they will let it slide.

Definately. I'm not gonna start yelling or anything..I was polite to the police officer who pulled me over and I'm gonna be polite in court.

Qosis: The funny thing is, I got pulled over while I was trying to find the only Krispy Kreme store in Toronto. I wanted to ask the officer where it was, but he would probably take it the wrong way.

lol...too ironic

the best of luck to you. BTW..in michigan, they give you a grace period to show your license/registration/whatever before court that way you can avoid court and only pay minimal fees.

Don't forget that in Canada it's "Your Worship" and not "Your Honor". :D

The cop probably won't even show.

Yep, chances of the them showing are very small indeed. My parents almost never pay their tickets :)

These are not "moving" violations. In many jurisdictions, all they make you do is take care of updating everything. If you do, there is no fine.

As they say in HD, YMMV. Good luck. :)

How about I just paypal you $5.00USD. That should cover both fines, court costs, and your insurrance increase. ;)

Buy a Bike. At least you'll be ahead of the game when they take your license away.

Learn how to use the fscking search feature. There are only about 10 billion threads concerning traffic tickets here.

This is different than ohter ticket senarios..this has ot do with registration.

And most of the time, the cops usually attend the court hearings...I got my ticket on Rexdale Dr. near Missaguaga but my court date is in Peel court on Keele St.

The tickets were so stupid, I got a ticket for not signing the registation <my mom had to sign it not me..car is in her name> and also another ticket cause the sticker wasn't on it.

What kinda questions owuld the judge ask me?

He would ask you if you knew how to use the fscking search feature.
Then he would slap you with a huge penalty for taking up so much bandwidth with ANOTHER STUPID TRAFFIC TICKET THREAD.

:)
