If/when we go, we eat just before since we gotta eat anyway.. and just pay the $20 for tix. That's not too bad. Of course it hurts if you gotta spend $10 for snacks/drinks.

$30 bucks. So what? It's cheaper than dinner, more entertaining (if it's a good movie), lasts twice as long, you don't have to make conversation, and she still kisses you anyway.

I totally agree...

My gf and I never go to the threater for movies anymore unless it's with a group of friends... otherwise we would just rent from blockbuster and watch it on my home threater...

For the price of 2 movie tickets, I can rent like 5 movies at blockbuster... and at home, we can lie on the couch, talk about the movie, or pause to go to the washroom... just so much more comfortable...

Alamo Draft House + College ID = 5.50. They also serve beer too so 8.50 (1 beer) or maybe even 11.50 (2 beers) :D
