Going to Taiwan in 3 weeks. What to do?

So I'm flying out to Taipei for a friend's wedding June 30- July 7. Besides the wedding festivities, what else should I see/do while on the island?

you will be in Taipei exclusively? (well, there are other cities too that are within 2-3 driving distance). I am not from Taiwan and don't know much, but i know the "night food market" (Chi Lin) is a must see, it has all kind of TW delicacies. The 101 Tower, the tallest in Taiwan, is also a tourist spot (some say it's overrated though).
