Going to St. John's this summer

So me, the fiancee and her family are heading to St. John's for a week. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good current book on St. John to point out the good tourist stuff (similar to a maui revealed type book). Also anyone who has been if you have any recomendations on what to do or where to go i'd love to hear.

St. John is awesome. We went on an ecotour with Thunderhawk Guided Trail Tours. It was great. The trou guide is the owner, and he is named Thunderhawk. He loves the island and knows a ton about the local culture and the land.

Which hotel, Westin or Caneel Bay?

as far as i know you don't since it is a U.S. Territory.

Thanks for posting it. I've spent the last hour trying to figure out the magic combination to get the search engine to work. I finally gave up and came back to this thread to post something like "I have a detailed St. John thread, but I can't find it" when I saw your post.
