Just graduated from college and got my bachelor's degree. I don't have a job yet and don't think I have any credit. What rates do you think I should be looking for when I go into my local bank for a credit card?

You'll want at least 20%, so that you'll really have to think before you use it.

That is not good advice.

OP, you should shop around for the best rates, deals, etc and not just go to your local bank.
If you believe you may carry a balance and have to pay interest, you will want to find a card with a lower APR% rate i.e. <10%. Hopefully something like 0% for 12 months deal.

If you absolutely know that you will pay off your card at the end of the month, each month no questions asked, you can look for a card with a high rate but perhaps with a reward such as cash back or points, etc.

I think if you have no credit history, you may want to look into the amex blue or citibank for some of their offers. Good luck.

THanks for the advice,

I don't plan on carrying a balance ever and plan on paying off the bill every month.
