Got my Stainless Pro Carry II HD a few days ago, sweet little pistol.

I probably wouldn't call .270 recoil minimal, but it's not severe. I've got a Remington 7400 in .280 Rem. Now my Ruger No. 1 Tropical in .458 Win Mag packs a wallop, but more of a shove than a kick.

Sweet BAR you got, never cared for the squared off receiver myself. Have a blast!

The semi auto will cut recoil by bout 30%
I'm looking at a BAR and seeing if I can rebarrel to a 338/06.
