Going to see ZZ Top in Tahoe this weekend

Hehe, they came to Vancouver a number of years ago and it resulted in a rather interesting episode. We have this crappy new music dance radio station here that occasionally does this lame "retro is cool" fad and "brings back" an "old band" just cause "they rock". Unfortunately for all parties involved, ZZ Top just happened to be this band at the same time that they were doing the concert in town. So the lame radio station parks their huge lame motorhome mobile broadcast thing outside the venue and do their "ZZ Top is cool, let's all dance like retards" thing. The concert ends, and all the bikers come out, angry at the world for whatever reason and decide to beat on the dance party mobile. They totally trashed the POS.

It was funny.

2 weeks ago when i was in Tahoe Alice Cooper and Ted "chewy" Nugent were playing but it was Sunday night and I had to get back to work on Monday so I couldn't stay 🙁 I would have loved to see Ted.

p.s. dana carvey gets credit for calling him chewy nugent (like chewy nuget I assume).....hilarious to me.
 
I saw them a few years ago with Lynyrd Skynyrd. They put on a great show, even though we were pretty far from the stage.
