I'm pretty excited...I just bought two tickets to see Dane Cook. $200/two tickets. I normally wouldn't spend this much on tickets, but this was one of the things I wanted to do before I deploy.

He just came out with a new CD. Hopefully, the concert revolves around it. I've heard his other stuff plenty of times. Oh well, I'm excited either way.

he's a comedian.

I think he's funny, but not as funny as people make him out to be.

I went to see him a couple years ago at Madison Square Garden.

I enjoyed it

He needs to learn an instrument.

Same here, I just kept waiting for the funny stuff and it never happened. I'm not here to bash him and say he sucks but he doesn't make me laugh.

IMO he's an unfunny hack, but God bless him if he can get people to spend $100 a ticket to see him. Have fun, in any case!

Wow, he wasn't anywhere near that pricey when he did a show in my area. Those must be some kick ass seats. You know that you don't sit near the front in a comedy show right? Unless he never messes with anyone, but I think he did in that HBO special.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in person. I saw Larry the Cable Guy one year when he came to the fair, never thought he was that funny til I saw him in person. He really let loose and got kind of raunchy, much better than the crap he does on TV.

I saw him once. He was funny, but now I am pretty sick of him...What I woudl do to get tickets to see Eddie Izzard, if he ever tours again.

People knock Dane Cook a lot now. Yeah he is getting kind of old, and his movies are no good, but he is a good performer, and he know show to deliver jokes.

Stand up comedy is always funnier in person no mater what the material.

Well, I have to say...I was some what disappointed in the show tonight. It was 95% verbatim from his last CD, and the whole thing only lasted an hour. The only thing he changed up from the CD was adding in the comment about Detroit being the #1 rated crime city in the US...and he cracked a few jokes about it. If I had paid $30/ticket, I would not be nearly as disappointed, but knowing I just dropped $200 when I could have listened to the CD...DOH!
