Yea, so I am going to San Francisco next week for a week. What are some cool things to do and see. Things to avoid?

Are there any tech companies that provide tours? Or do they limit to the press and such? I'd love to check out Apple, Intel, nVidia and so on..

Also, I am taking a Canon A40, with 128meg CF card. I have a feeling it will fill up half way through. What is the likely-hood I can find a Internet Cafe or something where I can unload the pictures and upload them to my website?

In every one of these threads I come in and talk about a house. A dirty house, one of ill-repute. Now, theres nothing wrong with the house itself, its the things that happen inside the house.

Damnit, that doesn't sound like the simpsons at all.

Go eat at that Masa's Restaurant. The chef Ron Siegel actually beat one of the Iron Chef in Japan. Lobster battle I believe.

Cliff House and the beach is about a 12 minute walk from my home. Fry's is 45 minutes away by car...

Stinkin' Rose? northbeach, it's still there.

I've been there. Foods not bad, i like how they beam the orders through a wireless network. ALthough the selection is a little skimpy compared this one restaurant next door. But still, awesome food.

if u want to go to alcatraz, u need to book like a week before.

also go to ghiradelli ice cream in fisherman wharf. the ice cream there is incredible.

a good winery place is in napa valley (quite a drive from SF, about 1 hour). if you go here go to robert mondavi and beringer, and do some wine tasting of course!

lombard street is also cool to visit

also go to union square, lots of stores around there. If u go here park at the ofarrel parking structure (entrance is front of macys on ofarrel street) this is cheapest parking around there.

cheesecake factory on top of macy building facing union square is also pretty good. the cheesecake is amazing.

There are lots of good chinese place too... lemme know if u are interested

try the restaurant the slanted door in the city.

also, the apple campus in cupertino is really nice, Cisco has showcase rooms full of their technology that visitors can walk through.

Go across the GG Bridge to Sausalito (nice Bayside restuarants and shops) and take a ferry to Angel Island
