id park my car at the big shopping center on the corner of garnet and ingraham, and then walk toward the beach. i dont know if your asking about cool bars to go dancing and meet females, but if so, check out that place in belmont park (near the rollercoaster). if your into xercize, bring your bike or rollerblades and go to the (cement) boardwalk facing the ocean and the bay.
and the cass st bar & grill is a favorite of us locals, great cheap food and friendly peeps
