Taking the wife and son to disney world for a few days and then to west palm beach to visit wifes family. Haven't been to disney world yet, any recommendations on what to see?

how old is son? i'd recommend EPCOT. i live in the middle between orlando and west palm along i-95. if hes real young like 5-7 take em to animal kingdom but if hes 8-14 epcot is where it's at. try to hit up a water park while you're at it....blizzard beach is pretty good.

Epcot is the best part of Disney. I recommend eating there every night. If there's a day where the park seems less crowded that's the best time to hit the Magic Kingdom, because crowds make the experience far less enjoyable.

Believe it or not I liked Magic Kingdom. MGM was ok and Animal Kingdom sucks! Epcot was fairly boring but it was entertaining to a point. It's freaking hot so stay out of the scorching sun! Oh yea, be careful of sudden showers. We were in Magic Kingdom when it was nice and sunny and all of a sudden it starting raining. EVERYONE ran for shelter. The smart ppl had ponchos and if you wanted to buy one, it'll cost you an arm and a leg!

Things to look for
Fireworks in Epcot
Parades in Magic Kingdom
Shows on the lake at MGM

EDIT oops quoted myself instead of editing

Actually hes only 11 months. He is obviously too young for rides and such, but im sure there is plenty for him to stare and point at.

i happen to be very fond of the magic kingdom. the palace is that signature picture in ads, and if your son has watched TV, he should immediately recognize it despite his age.

there are honestly things for all ages there -- "it's a small world" after all is a cute little ride. space mountain, thunder mountain, and splash mountain are also decent rollercoasters even for the folks who are afraid of them (like myself). the teacup ride will make you motion sickness if you're that type, but it's also a favorite.

i can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but whatever you choose to do, you will have a good time. 🙂

Since he's only 11 months, his entertainment is not the pressing issue.

Go to Epcot and enjoy it for yourself, the child oriented Disney side can wait until he's older & you can enjoy that experience together.

The best 'Deal' in Florida is the Space Coast tour of the Shuttle Operations at the NASA launch facilities - most educational.

space coast tour over in kennedy space center is around $40-50 now. way to expensive for what you get. just my opinion though.
