I'm going to the Angels' home opener tomorrow and was wondering if I should plan on getting there early or how early. Game is scheduled for a 7:05 start. I've never been to opening day so I don't know if I should go early to watch ceremonies or whatever. Thanks:)

I'm sorry. :) Opening day is usually the busiest day of the season, bar any postseason game - the stadium should be at full capacity, so arrive at least an hour beforehand, b/c after traffic and the long ass lines to get in, you'll probably be down to 30 minutes before you actually get to your seat.

For someone who has never been to an opener, and I am not sure how the Angel's parking is set up, but in many places where you pay to park, expect the price to be WELL more than normal.

In St. Louis, normal 10 dollar lots were 60 - 80.

In Chicago, if you can find a side street, you pay nothing!:D

So, be prepared for that if you need to be. Anyone special throwing out the first pitch? Plan on higher security and longer turnstyle line waits.

If you are 21, and have the time, go early and hang out at a nearby bar? Helps traffic, which I absolutely hate.

I like to watch BP tho, so I am always earlier than the rush.

Well I went to the ALCS and ALDS two years ago. Parking is always the same price. That would suck if it went up for certain games. The lot there is awesome. I get out in about 10 minutes, even when I went there to see the Rolling Stones. So that really isn't an issue.
