My family and I are going to New York City for a few days next month ( Feb 22-25 to be exact). My pops and I are going to some cool tapings of shows: Conan O'Brien on friday and SNL on the saturday while my mom and sister go to some broadway plays. Ill probly go to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State building and the other well known things but what other cool stuff is there for me to see?
thnx!

Yes, the watches. I got a couple of nice Gucci's from a vendor in front of the NYSE. I would also go to the Metropolitan. Also, use the Subway, it is a great experience.

NYC has some of the best places to eat.

Just grab a Zagats survey and look for top 50 bang for the buck or just the top 50 and enjoy the food!

Also, get a Sabretts hotdog from a cart.. good stuff

Last time I visited NYC, I spent a lot of time on Canal Street. I'm not sure whereabouts it is since I don't live there, just ask around. Theres lots of cool stuff for sale there, some asian stores have lots of cool imported japanese electronics that are cooler than any American crap.

a native new yorker looks for primo knockoffs on canal street, all
along the strip. if you've never been here before, visit the metropolitan
museum of art (closed on mondays) and as many of the other museums on
the museum mile along fifth avenue (guggenheim, frick, jewish, museum
of the city of new york, museo el bario, and museum of modern art).
if you can, catch a flick at the imax theatre at sony linclon square.
mtv studios are in times square; trl begins broadcast around 3:30.
etc etc

GO SEE BLUE MAN GROUP! You won't be sorry. Much better than the Intel commercials.

Definitely go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's really cool, even if you're not a big art buff. The Egyptian Exhibit is awesome.
