Do you leave your place at least? Some New Yorkers don't 😉
 
Definitly go to Yankee Stadium, especially if you are a baseball fan. I don't appriciate it enough living here and going to games all the time. I think Peter Lugers is overrated, I am a huge fan of Ben Bensons in midtown. Where are you staying? My favorite part about New York is the non-tourist attractions.

Oh, and despite the myth, New York subways are much improved. Some stations are not the cleanest, but there are plenty of new trains on the east side lines and it is the quickest way to get around town.
