i went with my family a few years ago when i was probably 17 or so and we went to the statue of liberty... was pretty cool and when it's not too hot out they let you go up to the head.. great view
however the city scape has changed a LOT since i was there last... thanks to 9/11... whatever you do, save yourself the trouble of driving in downtoun conditions... find a way to avoid it becasue we didnt and i had to navigate through the 1 way streets using a rand mcnally map hahaha
- go watch a broadway show
- hang out in central park
- hit some bars and pubs
- walk from 2nd street to 122nd street
- go shopping for overpriced goods
- sit in the Q subway line and take it back and forth over the bridge to see the view of manhattan
