I got home tonight from work and my win98 won't boot anymore. The power went out while I was at work, and well, I don't really want to mess with it. I don't need win98 anymore, so I figure I might as well get rid of it and just use win2k.

Going to delete all my partitions and then start over. Should i just go into DOS and run FDISK?? will that clear all the drives for me? Then format them after? I dunno.

I have 30 GB, so I figure:

2 GB - Win2K
13 GB - Programs
13 GB - Files/MP3s
2 GB - Download/ISO

I was thinking maybe dual boot with Linux but I don't really know how to do that, so I'll leave it for later when I have a whole computer to devote to it.

Well if you are not happy with your partitions you can delete them with fdisk. Then you can make new ones with fdisk fine. That would be the easiest way.

If you want to keep your two partitions (for clean dual boot purposes) all you need to do is format them.

If you want to get rid of them, FDISK will do it.
