Going to Lakers game (Staples Center) - Where to park?

Anybody know a good place to park? I'm guessing theres crazy fees for the regular parking.

Any other tips/advice in getting around?

i usually park a few blocks away from the staples center. its a pay parking lot that is about 3 blocks away from the staples center. its right off the 110 when you get off, and its on your left hand side. i believe you go past the 1st or 2nd light and its right there on the left. only a few blocks to walk, and last time i went i think it was around $4-5.

dont be cheap and park in front of someones house. Parking shouldn't cost more than 8 bucks.

HA! HA! HA! HA!

Thanks for the laugh. The lots run by Staples Center are $20 each. If you park a little west on Figueroa in the "other" lots its about $10-$15 depending on how close you want to be. I've never had a problem (security wise) parking in the area.

I've only been to 1 Lakers game and it was a playoff game against the Kings a few years ago. They swept the Kings on their way to a championship. We had 5 free passes for box seating courtesy of Sempra energy which included a dinner buffet prior to the game and free drinks in the booth. Man, that's the only way to see a Lakers game!

My wife and I went and I invited 3 friends of mine. It was pretty sweet!!!

IIRC-I think we paid for parking at Staples (I know we parked at Staples) but it was a bargain compared to all the comps we got.

Take the train. The blue line drops you off right in front of staples. If not go up flower street a couple of blocks and park on the street for free if you don't mind walking 3-4 blocks.

wtf does this have to do with anything???

if you park in the lot, ur gonna have a hell of a time getting out. i go to the angel's baseball game a lot and we always park down the road. a 10 minute walk > a 30 minute wait in the lot.
