Anyone know if 2-stroke motors are banned at this point? i cant seems to find a definitive answer after a extensive search. I have a old 1990 yamaha waverunner that i want to take and hopefully it can be used.

Well assuming you mean the Lake Mojave that is part of Lake Mead Rec Area in Nevada, it looks like 2strokes are still allowed.

Clean Engine Requirement - 2013
Beginning January 1, 2013, boats that do not meet the Environmental Protection Agency Rule for gasoline spark - ignition marine engines would be prohibited on Lakes Mead and Mohave. The National Park Service will require the exclusive use of four-stroke engines, direct-injection two-stroke engines, or equivalent technology.
