I find coming back to Canada way more of a pain in the ass than arriving in Germany or Austria.

One time I went from Srbija - Croatia - Slovenija - italija and I dont think they opened our passports once..
I have to agree.

Going from Canada to any other continents isn?t too bad (only had 1 bad experience with US custom). But, coming back to Canada from other continents, and South/Central America always is a pain?especially if I have to go through US custom.

Some good advice in this thread so far.. Get your shots, try to not have anything to declare..

On a related note.. Do you speak with an accent?

Let me explain, being Indian myself, I was last there 3 years ago when I was 20... On my arrival in India, I was given a little bit of a hrd time by customs because I was obviously an American.. I expected that.. They ask a few more questions about what you are there for and where you're going.. (In Mumbai BTW...)

The part that surprised me was US Customs.. I came into Minneapolis, and upon asking me some retarded question about my trip, the customs agent started looking at me funny when I started talking.. I had a US passport, and I live in Iowa.. I have no Accent whatsoever, as I was born and raised here...

The lady then gets another agent over, and has them ask me similar questions... Did you bring any fruits, mangos, bannanas... ETC.. All the while they seemed taken aback by my perfect english and lack of accent...

Anyways.. Have a fun trip.. Work on your Fake accent if you don't have a real one :)

Flying to India in Dec. by myself. I'm only 16. Is it going to be hard w/customs? I was thinking its going to be a pain when I reach in India, at the customs and all. Other than that it shouldnt' be that hard. But what are some good things in Ahemdabhad? Thats where I will be going. I'm going to be meeting my dad there. He is leaving on the 29th of November. But I was wondering what are some good places to go to? My dad doesn't really know much, he hasn't been there in 15 years, and the last tiem I went...I was only 8 and I hated the heat...but can anyone give me some places to go that are around Ahemdabhad?

hah iam from ahmedabad

make sure you have food at vishala, great place

I can certainly recommend Vishala, even though I was there some 15 years ago last...!

i dont think this is the right place to criticize offshoring or outsourcing. leave that to another thread

ppl do tend to take the off in off-topic rather literally around here ...
