Find out if the airplane needs a special ac adapter for their plugs, or if they have plugs at all. If so, load up your laptop. If you don't have one, get a game boy advanced. If you don't wanna do that, get ready for watching each movie they offer twice. Last time I went, I was basically in the plane for 22 hours straight. Went through 2 books, watched every movie at least once, and played my laptop battery out.

When people are cramped in small spaces like that for extended periods of time, they can get grouchy real fast... plus some people just don't know when to *shh!*. On my way back I met a travel buddy, was nice talking to her, change of pace. But then on the 2nd leg of our journey she got bumped up to business class, and I was stuck in coach. Grr.

Heh, whenever I travel now, I can't help but to think of Fight Club: "Single serving friends..." Ahh.

plan for batteries to need charging.... Make friends with the FA and they may let you recharge on their outlet....Bring a book. (or two).... Rip CD's prior to going so as to eliminate the need to spin THAT drive.... a y cord and spare headphone will allow you to "share" with that attractive seatmate.... Gameboy if so inclined... If you have a DVD drive carry some movies....
Sleeping pills and Laxatives do not go together, BTW......

Hahah. I wish there was a way to tell how old girls are. When I was a teenager, and even now into my early 20's, I am horrible at guessing how old they are. The way they dress up... hell, I even have to worry out at the clubs and bars now with so many fakes out. :(

I've only ready one book by Kurt Vonngott, Slaughter House Five (I think that's the title). It was interesting. I haven't read Cat's Cradle but I have heard it's something to read. I've never been able to get homework done on the plane, writing is a real pain on those little tables. Ditto on having the splitter on the off chance you meet a pretty travel mate. Although I'd hope you'd start talking to them instead of listening to music. ;)

[Edit: Oh, heh, I usually guess too old, so that could get me intro trouble. Older girls might get insulted, and well younger girls are jailbait.]

Yeah ive read slaughterhouse 5 and i thought it was great...Yeah im 17 so i dont think theres gonna be girls that are tooo young ..heh...guessing age is always trouble...a hot chick that isnt so "developed" can be either 13 or 23 its scary.

Haha. Yeah, amen to that. Best way to find out is just on how mature they act I suppose. If they're maturity and looks tell you one thing, gotta go with it. Not so much a problem now, but still.

haha.... well the chance of sitting to a hot chic is slim already (there're only about 3-4 on a flight, and sitting next to one is almost impossible especially when they already have a bf.

guessing age is ok... i mean i've dated 4 girls so far and everyone one of them is older than me. and i'm not the type to rush into having sex with the girl so i guess i'll have time to find out.. ;)

Hahaha. Has nothing to do with that, but investing time in someone you know you can't do anything with is sort of a bummer. Example: I meet a girl at a coffee house, we hit it off, I ask her out, I'm having a great time, then I find out she's 17. Sure, it happens all the time, but legally, I'm in all sorts of trouble. Sometimes better not to ask. :p

Oh god no. While waiting you realize why you *shouldn't* be waiting. High-school-mentality-will-drive-you-insane.

well if you were legal age, i'd say drink to your heart's content (or till you're puking in the bathroom and pass out with your head in the toilet)

yo best thing is too book flights at night time. depart your home city at night. arrive in Europe the next day. tour it for the day, and take the night flight out to Iindia. You'll be sleeping while on the plane all the time, won't feel a thing.

Or, you can always just get drunk on the plane. Thats always fun and kills lotsa hours.

I heard the overhead lighting of plane seats is just about perfect for a Gameboy Advance. ;):D

I know Kuwait Airways has Super Nintendo, but they only have a few selection of games.

Emirates has exceptional service from what I have heard. I was in India in the summer, and the excitement of going there kept me busy for the entire trip to India.

On the way back however, I was sick (I'm always sick coming from India to Canada).

btw, our flight was Toronto --> London --> Kuwait --> Bombay. A 2 hour stop in London and a 4 hour stop in Kuwait. On the way back the stops were of longer duration.

However on the way to India, I was using my dad's business class seat while he and my mom sat in economy (he was going to India as a business trip so company gives him business class ticket). My dad came back earlier, so I had to use economy on the way back.

Trust me, Business class is WORTH IT!
