Are you saying China has ICBMs that can shoot across the pacific?

I'm saying I'm more worried about China than I ever could be about korea or any of the hovels in the middle east. Read into it what you want.

if US goes down with missles, CHina has nothing to gain. They have just killed their biggest consumer.

Its the ravenous consumption of Chinese products that will end up in the US's downfall if not the mutual prosperity of US and China.

Its absolutely pointless for China to attack the US and your posts with no evidence/support and only rhetoric does not change that.

i think the best way for China to take down US in a war is to surrender a million soldiers a day (whom we'll have to feed and shelter as POW's). that could go on for as long as five years but i don't think it would be necessary.

I agree with you, but egos always gets in the way of easy alliances.

egos? Chinese Egos are sated by things like hosting Olympics or Producing Cheap steal that drives midwestern US steal mills out of business.

China is a different beast than the Middle East.

1. China is atheist, no religious fundamentalism.

2. China is driven by consumption and acceptance of "western" things.

3. China is all about profit and not ideology. If you think China is still the communist China of the 50s then you have been too engrossed in propoganda.

4. nationalism in China is not strong and people generally care more for their own well being.
