Going to get skylake CPU, should i upgrade my Corsair Hydro Series H80?

I know its backwards compatible from my 2600k, but they came out 6 YEARS ago. Does anyone know how long these closed loop coolers last? If i don't have to upgrade to a new cooler, great, but I also don't want to risk it as well. Plus, this one is smaller than newer versions of the same type, less noise, and will fit easy in Node 804 case i got sitting unopened in corner for last couple years. 😛

I know it has a 5 year warranty..so maybe Corsair knows it won't last past that?

The worse that would happen is skylake would just shut off pc or throttle so low it wont' damage it right? Maybe i'm over thinking this.
