woohoo, so we finally decided to go to Disney World. It will be me and my significant other. The plan is to go for about 10 days, and ofcourse, we are gonna visit disney. Looking at the disney website(if there is a cheaper place, please tell me), I see that a 4 day pass to 4 of the themeparks are around 199 dollars. So that is 4 of my days out of 10 that is taken care of. What about the other 6 days? I might consider buying individual tickets for a couple more days to the other attractions, but what else is there in Orlando besides themeparks and mickey mouse?

What else should I visit while I"m in florida? I have no car, so we will be taking the bus to most of our destinations...........

Theres 4 theme parks? My memory must be shot, I remember 3 making up Disney World. Ah well.

The alligators on the streets shocked me. I always thought of it as an exaggeration, but there truly are alligators roaming the streets. =P

You are? Well I'm not!

Okay...*maybe* Downtown Disney...but that's about as close as I get!

Is Disney World anything like Disneyland? I remember going a few years ago and it wasn't fun at all.

I hate Florida. It's hot and wet, and hotter, and sticky. And there's like 10 million lizards all over the place but it's still not nearly enough to control the population of giant bugs (either that or the bugs are too big for the lizards to eat). Remember the thing with the weird neck that puffs up from the beginning of Jurassic park? I swear I saw a baby one of those things sitting on a tree and staring at me. Plus it's so damn hot and humid... you try to go in the ocean to cool off, but the heat and humidity are about the same, but now you're salty, too.

I went to Disney once and found it disappointing. Universal was a lot more fun.

4 days isn't actually enough to spend at Disney.

A lot of places to go:

Magic Kingdom
MGM Studios
Epcot Center
Animal Kingdom
Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon
Downtown Disney
Disney Boardwalk

What we did when we went there was go to the water parks in the morning, then to the theme parks in the afternoon to night and then to downtown disney at night to party @ Pleasure Island.

I'd also recommend watching Cirque du Soleil. A bit pricy, but worth it.

After 4-5 days @ Disney, check out Universal Studios.

Universal Studios Florida
Islands of Adventure
Lots of restaurants. (Margaritaville has good margaritas)

Then you can also visit Kennedy Space Center.

There's also Sea World.

If you like shopping at outlets, there's Belz outlets

You'll probably be really tired, but its all worth it.
You only live once...might as well enjoy it to the fullest.

Hope you enjoy your vacation.:D
