I'd if I liked men.

Unlike the rest of the posters here, here's a real tip. Try to brush up on your table manners, and if they are good enough, it will make the other people feel shabby. The interviewer can tell who a sophisticated person is.

basic stuff...smile, be polite to the waitstaff, keep the conversation going but let others speak as well. ASK questions, dont just answer them.
dont get something messy like speghetti or ribs.
enjoy the evening and try not to suck up too much!

Don't go overboard, if I were the interviewer I'd hate it if some kid was acting like a pompous ass and folding the napkin just so, wiping his mouth after every bite. Just act naturally, try to get along with the other people there. Oftentimes side things like your interaction with others may be more telling than a direct question.

Sheesh....you definitely need to brush up on your interviewing skills if you want to get ahead in this world. That's the first rule in the book of successful dinner interviewing.

😛

when the interviewer isn't looking... do everything you can to make the other interview-ees feel uncomfortable

Here is some additional advice for you. Make sure you taste your food before adding any salt or pepper. This is one of the little details that interviewers sometimes pay attention to. Be prepared to ask some of your own questions during dinner to show that you are interested. And don't expect to be able to eat too much. Good luck!!
