There's an event in SoCal sponsored by the Red Cross. Its being held at Azusa Pacific University. Its called Super CPR and it runs from 8am-3pm. The cost is only $10 if you preregistered and $15 at the door. This is a heck of deal considering some classes charge $35+ for this.
I just thought anybody in the local area might be interested in doing this since its helpful to know this in case of an emergency.

Good for you. If you don't use it, you lose it though. For most people, it can take several classes covering the same CPR material to have it fully sink in. My job requires CPR training yearly at a minimum. For some reason, I end up in the class every quarter though.

My wife and I plan to retrain when our certificate expires. What do you do that requires you to need CPR training? Some of my friends are teachers and they are required to know CPR.

lol, thanks Jim. It's nice to be trained on CPR, but I'll never carry a red-cross certified card. Too many lawsuits can happen if you f$ck something up. However, if you are helping somebody under the good samaritan act, you have no lawsuits to worry about.

With all that aside, I'm Army Combat Lifesaver certified. If the Army can trust me to bandage somebody up, I'm sure a civilian will be at ease :)
