Well the rule is to dress nice enough to show proper respect for the court, but not flamboyantly. So I think just wearing a suit, or maybe a sportcoat and slacks (preferably not dockers) is the happy medium. By flamboyant I imagine you don't have a hand-tailored $3000-$4000 suit or a high fashion couture suit, nor frequently wear french cuffs, a pocket square, etc, so you won't go overkill with whatever dress clothes (shirt, tie, suit) you have. Personally I find "dressing up" in dockers and a button-down (by that I mean the collar type, real dress shirts dont have button-down collars) is a bit tacky and half-assed, so if you want to look respectable you might as well go with at least a jacket and tie.
