Going to Cabo...suggestions/tips

The wife and I are going to Cabo San Lucas in a month. I wanted to get some opinions on what not to miss while we are there. And possibly things to avoid (other then the water). We are staying at the Royal Solaris, which I believe is not in Cabo San Lucas, but is in Los Cabos, so suggestions of what to do there would also be helpful. If you have a personal reveiw for the Royal Solaris, I would appreciate hearing that as well. No long trips are going to be planned, but I want to get opinions on things that should not be missed when you go to Cabo.
Thanks for your time.

I disliked the high prices and the boring scenery. Went once and I'll never go again.

Odd, I watched an episode of Chuck Henry's 'Travel Cafe' and the place seemed to be anything but boring. Of course, the focus seemed to be on doing the 'not-so-touristy' things and visiting 'not-so-touristy' places so they may have (thankfully) glossed over the mega-resorts, souvenir shops, expensive restaurants and other tourist traps the local tour guides and travel agents hype up and sell to the average tourist.

Kayaking out of the tranquil bay near San Jose del Cabo (~20 miles north of Cabo San Lucas) out to the natural arches carved out of the sheer rock faces facing the Pacific and rappelling down tall ocean-facing cliffs surrounded by all that beautiful scenery and framed by an awesome sunset looked to be pretty damn inviting to me. The place sounds like great fun if you're into sport-fishing, too. :)

This link may help. Good luck on the trip.
