Going to be out later, and want to pick up some sunglasses so i can stop squinting all the time like an idiot. I'll still be an idiot, mind you, but i won't be squinting like one. Not sure where i'm going to go, i have no expertise in buying sunglasses. Any place out there that has good brands/prices or anything? I'm just wondering if there's any place that would be considered worth going to over Sears or some place like that. I'm always looking for bargains 😀 - Don't wanna spend more than 20-30 bucks. Not going to buy them online.

Anyone surprised at the number of idiots who don't realize that drugstore cheapie sunglasses have no UV protection and consistently post their recommendations in EVERY thread, along with reasons like "I can lose 10 and it's okay"?

Is there a brand with quality comparable to Oakley with a lesser price tag?

I've had a pair of Oakley's for a couple of years now and I have to admit they're easily the best sunglasses I've ever owned. I had previously bought ~$50 sunglasses but they just don't compare in terms of optic quality, fit, and finish to the Oakleys. The Oakley's are definitely expensive but at least you can be sure you're getting top-quality glasses.

I don't remember, but the melody is from the theme to the 80's tv show 'greatest american hero' so if you can <ahem>find</ahem> a copy of the song, you'll get the gist.

I wear sunglasses to block bright light so I can see while I'm driving. I don't care about UV protection. Amazingly, $10 sunglasses do the job for me. So why should I pay more?

Not everyone likes paying $100 for Sunglasses...infact no one should.

I ended up not going, so i guess that makes me a liar. I feel asleep instead. I'll probably just end up looking around the mall sometime this weekend. The Mall...*shudders*

Moron. Nearly every pair in those stores have 100% UV protection, are labeled as such, and some even have polarized lenses!

Anyone surprised at the number of idiots sucked in by designer sunglasses hype?
