I wanted a SFF computer, bought a Shuttle 45g and it was DOA, returned it and am now going to go with something a bit different. I was thinking of this configuration:

Antec Aria -99.00
Shuttle MN31N nForce2 IGP + MCP-T -78.00
Thermaltake 12cm fan -14.05
Artic Silver 5 -7.49

I already have:

2500 mobile
250WD HDD
NEC dvd rw
1.5 GB Corsair RAM
4200 128mb

My thinking on the shuttle motherboard was:

1- needed support for athlon xp
2- wanted soundstorm
3- wanted firewire, usb, and sound headers for the Aria case

I am looking at getting the case fan to improve airflow through the case. After I hook it all up and it runs stable for a while I want to take the PSU apart and replace the slow fan in the back with the adjustable TT model. I was looking on the Antec website at the case and they said the case fan runs at 1200RPM moving 38CFM @ 25dB, the TT model I'm proposing turns 1300 RPM puting out the same 38CFM but @ 17dB. However the main reason I want it is because I can control the TT fan and can raise it to 2800RPM moving 94CFM but @ 46dB. But I think somewhere in the middle is a good setting.

Let me know your opinions.
