Got my vitamix last week and have used the crap out of it.
One of my favorite smoothies so far is this:
Make your own almond milk with it for your base.
1) 6oz of the above mentioned almond milk
2) 1 avocado
3) two big handfuls of spinach
4) half a frozen banana
5) cup of frozen fruit blend (whatever costco/sams has..currently I'm using a mango, strawberry, peach & pineapple one)
6) Scoop or two vanilla whey
Blend!
May have to add another couple ounces of milk depending on how thick/thin you want.
That is one smooth, delicous shake. I make up a big pitcher of that and my wife & I split for breakfast.
