I agree, the hardware isn't worth the price difference. However, I'd pay $25,340 to not have to deal with the load of crap that is Creative's software; they already taunt me with the damn X-Fi software, I'm not letting any more of their garbage onto my computer.

Believe it or not, their software is much better right now. I didn't even bother installing Media Source with my first Creative player three years ago, but the new version that came with my new Vision:M is much better. However, eve if you still dislike Media Source, the new WMP has almost Itunes like integration with Creative players.

Since installing WMP11, I haven't had a single Windows session where it didn't crash on me, whether it's an embedded applet in a web page or the actual application. I love iTunes, and it loves me.

I just wish they sold the red models somewhere other than the Apple stores, at least then we could find some decent deals or save on tax.
