I agree, the hardware isn't worth the price difference. However, I'd pay $25,340 to not have to deal with the load of crap that is Creative's software; they already taunt me with the damn X-Fi software, I'm not letting any more of their garbage onto my computer.

I've got a 1st gen black nano so I'm not going to be upgrading any time soon.

I wouldn't get the silver to match, I'd get the silver because I like shiny things.

Believe it or not, their software is much better right now. I didn't even bother installing Media Source with my first Creative player three years ago, but the new version that came with my new Vision:M is much better. However, eve if you still dislike Media Source, the new WMP has almost Itunes like integration with Creative players.
