Going to bed on an empty stomach

Yzzim

Lifer
Is it good or bad?

I've heard people say it's good to not eat anything before you go to bed so your stomach can sleep. If you do eat something before bed your stomach has to stay awake and digest the food.
Is that true?

Some people say not to eat dairy products right before bed beacause it makes ur stomach work, but im sure other things wont bother it too much.

On a whole I don't know if it's good or bad for your body - if you're into lifting and such it's bad - even though you're asleep you go into a catabolic (not sure if thats the right term) state if your body has nothing to feed off of

its bad to eat a heavy meal and then immediately go to bed for the night.

its better to eat and wait an hour before going to bed.

sleeping on an empty stomach does create acid.. if you do so make sure you eat breakfast and not wait until lunch to eat the next days meal. In general you eat once every 4- 6 hrs or so... the breakfast is called breakfast cause it allows you to break the cycle.

going to bed on an empty stomach sucks, hurts like hell when you get up...a 'light' meal or a snack wouldnt hurt i dont think a few hours before bedtime...just dont eat so much you feel bloated 🙂
