Going to Austin, TX tomorrow - what to shoot?

It'll be my first time staying in Austin and not passing through. What are a few places that would be sweet for photos?

Get out to the desert , if you have decent flash , there are some beautiful spots , watch out for the mossies though!

Check out the Pennybacker bridge off loop 360 and 2222. Auditorium Shores is cool at night. Mozart's coffee has some cool views. Also the Oasis is great for views.

University of Texas has a beautiful campus. The governor's mansion, capital building, and UT are all within walking distance of each other. There is a great history museum near the university. Also, there is a historic cemetery.

Come to think of it, Austin in general is great to photograph! It's a beautiful city.

I assume you've already gone, but if you can, go to the Dallas World Aquarium. I'm a fan of aquariums, and it's one of my favorites I've been to

I barely got any time to go site seeing, it turns out(and it was COLD that weekend). My wife and her friend dragged us menfolk around shopping and eating... I did manage to spend about an hour at the Capitol, took some mostly "touristy" shots; i left my tripod in the car so all handheld.

I brought a D600 + 28mm f/1.8 along with the D7100 + 85mm f/1.8(127mm on the crop). For the brief time I was out I thought that lens combo served me well. I probably would have had a good time with the 24-70 / 70-200 combo but it'd have been much, much heavier! I'll go through the memory cards at some point and post anything interesting, the year-end has been chaos at work!
