The Shins
Travis
Beck

Well seeing as how you seem to like some decent indie rock, I'll try to help:

Do you have all the Mogwai albums? THe ones you MUST own would be : Ten Rapid, Young Team, EP+6.

A Silver Mt Zion - He Has Not Left Us Alone But Shats - GYBE Side Project great stuff
Beta Band - 3 EP's - Great scottish brit-pop type band.
Blur - Can't recommend Think Tank enough.
Slint - Spiderland - Alot of people seem to think it's what sparked Mogwai.
Archers Of Loaf- Vee Vee first, then Icky Mettle if you like that - Great straight out indie rock, they probably wrote the best two indie singles ever 'Step Into The Light' & 'Web In Front'
Shins - Both albums are great.
Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein - Honestly one of the best hip hop albums in the past 5 years.
Fly Pan Am - Another GYBE side project.
Guided By Voices - Bee Thousand & Alien Lanes
June Of 44 - Anahata
Les Savy Fav - Cat & Cobra or Inches = Amazing amazing post punk stuff.
Manitoba - Great pysch pop stuff. Definately get 'Up In Flames'.
My Bloody Valentine = Loveless - Best shoegaze album ever
Swervedriver - Rise - Amazing shoegazer stuff.
Bonnie Prince Billy - I See A Darkness - Probably my favorite 'folk' type album.
The Sea & Cake - Can't go wrong with any album, but recommend Oui, Nassau, and The Biz.
Tortoise - TNT and Standards

I could go on and on and on. But that's what I come up with off the top of my head.
