Going through power supplies?

My parents computer has gone through 3 PSU's so far. The most recent only lasted 3 months. Any ideas on what might cause it?

Their system is:
ASUS A7N266
AMD 1.3
WD 40g HD
WD 20g HD

They mainly use it for email/web browsing.

Have you considered that the incoming voltage suppled to your house might be the culprit. Try using a Stage 2 Monster Power line conditioner (Power Bar 1100 comes to mind). I know this is not a cheap item, but three psu's? Come on!

Try measuring the output voltage on the outlet the rig is connected to.
