Josh, after you setup your 2005FPW let us know if it's too bright :sun:

Mine was very bright which actually gave me a headache for 2-3 days. After a while you get used to it and other monitors now appear more dim. Weird I know.

Honestly, i think the 2405 may be too big for me, this seems to be a good size...

#1. No dead pixels, YEA!!!!! Not a single one.... Gotta love that...
#2. We definately have some backlight bleeding here, and on dark screens its fairly noticable... The bleeding is bright enough to light up my keyboard even when there is only black on the screen.
#3. Damn, this sucker is really bright compared to my 1703fp's sitting behind it...

I absolutely hate my 2005fpw.




























Any smaller resolution now just feels unuseable. It was absolute agony going back to a 15" LCD w/ a 1024x768 native resolution.



I wouldn't trade mine for any other monitor.

Can't wait until I'm done with school....3 years left! Then I can blow my money on these things again! I really miss those days. Being a semi-poor college student kinda blows!!!

But then again, my GF and I just got an apartment! Plus there's lots of hotties in neighboring buildings. I don't think I can even tell you what we saw in the window across the street. It's not permitted on the forums!

UPS lost my 2001FP, but Dell was good about sending another, this time by FedEx.

I'm staring at the closed box right now, but have to finish some work first before I can take time to set it up

(So of course I'm neffing here instead of finishing those edits )
