Going out with GF and her parents for dinner tonight. I have never gone anywhere with her and her parents before. I was wondering what is proper etiquette as for who pays for dinner. Do I pay for them or should the parents pay? If I pay is that insulting to them? I'm not sure how this is supposed to be done.

Offering to pay is always proper. Someone paying for a dinner should never be insulting to someone else, it's just dinner.
 
Ask for seperate checks... for everyone. But I'm not sure if Chuckie Cheese will divide up a tab or not. Make sure to get your tokens on their tab.
 
Who invited who out, you or them? The person that extends the invite should pay.

If they extended the invite you should still make one attempt after dinner to pickup the bill, but don't push it.

i've never paid for a check when out with any girlfriend's parents..my parents always pick up the tab when they are with me and my gf's..never seen a problem, just thank them
 
It's an asian thing to want to pay the bill.. like pay badly. Some of us are tricky in getting the bill and before u know it its already paid and then ther'es commotion as people try to stuff money into other people's hands...
