If youre going out to meet people, then i don't see anything wrong with going by yourself if your friends are married/not available/busy/you dont have friends. But to go out by yourself to "have fun" seems silly to me unless you're planning to meet people. Like when was the last time you had a blast just going out to dinner by yourself?
