The primary reason for the GPS is that we're going on our 2-year anniversary in July and driving from Florida to Tennessee and spending a week up there. I've never gone there and thought it'd be wise to invest in a decent GPS for the trip.
The main things I'm looking for:
- Accurate and up to date maps (most important)
- Ease of use (after the trip the wife will mainly using this)
- 4.3" screen (bigger the better!)
- Text to Speech
- Good POI database
Some optional things that would be nice, but not a huge deal if missing:
- Bluetooth (currently have a BlackBerry Curve)
- Lane assist (where it shows a visual of what lane you need to be in)
- Traffic/Receiver Info (like movie times, weather, traffic)
- MP3/Pictures
I've done a little research and have sort of narrowed it down to a handful.
Thanks for any input!
