Ok. I live in the schools apartments. We have a wireless network. This wireless network is truly the slowest, weakest piece of sh!t I have ever seen. In the kitchen, I see an access point with a switch. What I want to know is how can I change it to a wired network? I have over 1000 of Cat-5 cabling and I know how to make it myself. Is there some way where I can connect a switch or a hub to their switch and split it into a wired connection? We all use static IP addresses they work for all of us wirelessly. Is this possible? Cause I do know that in order for the access point to work, there is an RJ-45 jack that is plugged in. So what if we plug it into our hub and run a wired network? HELP!
