Your current temperatures for your processor at it's speed are excellent. Unless you really want it to try and overclock more then you already are I would say it's not worth it.

I checked the thermalright site and it lists 8rda+ as compatible. Better be, I bought one too for mine.

I am running one on an 8rda+ and it fits with PLENTY of room to spare.... I love that heatsink. I run with a Sunon high output 50 cfm fan and I run well below 40 unless I am gaming or running seti@home

Thanks! I ordered mine! Might order another one, just to have another (though need to be somewhat careful with new sockets and stuff for AMD).

Maybe 1 or 2 degrees. Take the opportunity to use a slower/quieter fan :)

Running an SLK900a on my XP2400+ @ 2.33ghz, nice temps with a zalman ZF2 fan @ 5.5v. Works great on my 8rda+.

Great heatsink, definatly worth it.

Running cooler is not the only issue. A 92mm fan that pushes the same CFM as an 80mm fan only at a lower RPM and thus less noise could also be an issue.

Do I need an SLK-900(a) for my current overclock...maybe...Would I use one in the futer upgrades for this rig? Definitely. If you don't already have a quality heat sink (I own a crappy Volcano 5), then its worth getting at $20 imo.
