I purchased a macbook air a few months after it was released and I've been happy with it. Look what it does, it does well. I've been relocated for work and will now be working out of home more instead of traveling so I want to get rid of the macbook air for more of a desktop replacement laptop.

I want to hook up this laptop to a projector I'll have in the house so I want it to be pretty powerful. I've looked at 3 laptops so far and want some of your opinions.

I found on newegg a 20 in. hp laptop which seems to have plenty of hard drive space and will be able to play games

Also I've looked at refurbished macbook pro's and dell m15.

I feel like I'll get around 1800 for my macbook air with the apple care warrenty and an apple N router with it as well.

What are your thoughts?

My Hp Pavilion zv6000 is a great desktop replacement. 1 gig memory, (outdated now) but i have upgraded it to 1.5 gig currently. Also has plenty of hard drive space at 100 gb, and the video card has supported most of the games I have played over the years.

My unit is probably outdated now since it has been a few years or so, but I dont think you can go wrong with an HP.
