Going from nvidia to ATI

I just ordered my X800XL and right now i have the 77.72 nvidia drivers and i was wondering if i have to delete the drivers i have now or will the new drivers just overwrite the old one?
 
Use driver cleaner to delete all your nvidia drivers then install the ATI drivers after you install your card.

Well at first i had an FX 5200. THen that blew out from overclocking a little too much, now im using onboard geforce 4 mx 440 i think.
