Going from DVI to HDMI

I need to run cable from a DVI out on my computer to a hdmi 1080p TV. http://www.monoprice.com/produ...=1&format=1#largeimage

I wanted to check if something like that should work fine for this. The video card will be an Nvidia 8800gt if that matters at all.

Unless you have an extra DVI cable laying around it seems to make far more $$ sense to go that route. (Am talking about a 6' cable with DVI at one end and HDMI at the other that can plug into TV on one side and computer on other.) I'm using a 8800 GT as well.

I'm going to need about 20-30 feet on HDMI cable too, is what's on monoprice going to work fine for that?

I have a DVI-HDMI cable that works fine for me. Going from an old nvidia AGP card to my tv's HDMI 720p (aka 766p)~

Sure ... and btw the stuff they specify for in-the-wall use will work fine outside the wall too.
